Biography.....                                                                                                                                                                         Donna Nevels is a Chicago born artist who has had a passion for photography since she was a young child. In 2004 she decided life was too short to not do what she loved. Her passion for photography along with the encouragement from family and friends was all she needed to leave her job and take up photography as a profession. She has taken classes from various professional photographers and continues to apprentice with Richard Harold Ainsworth in Joliet. Donna is able to find her trade mark brilliant color wherever she goes.  Her work is much more than pretty travel pictures.   She instinctively composes and captures the emotion portrayed in the scenes she sees, and presents. Her images make you want to be there. You want to stand where she stood and see what she saw. Even her black & white images are very ‘colorful. Her portraits are up close and personal. She captures the spirit of her subjects. Her passion for her art is felt.
